Job summary

Tropicana Corporation Berhad is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead all project activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and schedules while keeping the works within budget. You will coordinate the project team across contracts, purchasing, logistics, and administration, and engage consultants as needed.

You will prepare master programs, monitor procurement, track critical paths, and obtain statutory approvals.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Minimum 6 years working experience in related field.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, write precise reports and coordinate with project staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project activities to ensure compliance with specifications, plans, schedules and budget.
• Oversee workflow of project staff including contracts, purchasing, logistics and admin.
• Prepare and monitor master program, procurement and trade letting schedules, track critical path.
• Obtain necessary statutory approvals and certifications from authorities.
• Develop progress reports, proposals, required documents and presentations.
• Conduct post-mortems and create recommendations reports.
• Visit site to resolve site issues and manage consultants/contractors in meetings.
• Be competent in Building Contract adherence, liability, rights and implementation.
