Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a civil engineering background to lead and coordinate large-scale project sites across development and construction initiatives. You will oversee planning, control, and delivery to meet client expectations and safety standards.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years in project management, preferably in property development, strong teamwork, proactive initiative, and a meticulous, systematic approach to tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in project management, preferably in property/development or construction.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with strong coordination skills.
• Site-based senior project manager experience is preferred.
• Proactive with initiative and ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Overall in-charge of the whole project sites, manage and lead project planning and controlling.
• Lead, plan, direct and coordinate with the project team (internal/external) on activities.
• Liaise and negotiate requirements between client, consultant, subcontractor and supplier involved.
• Identify, analyze and resolve all technical and site issues.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risk.
• Report project progress to top management.
