Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced project leader to plan, implement, and operate construction projects in Malaysia. You will manage execution to meet timelines, budgets, and quality targets while guiding project teams and coordinating with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years in construction or project management, and strong MS Office skills. Experience with PM software like MS Project or AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil), Construction, Project Management or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in construction environment, project management or similar role.
• Experience delivering at least one complete construction project from start to finish is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or other PM software is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to coordinate interfacing works at site.
• Report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall planning, implementation and operation of the project.
• Plan, manage and execute projects to ensure timely completion within budget and desired quality.
• Provide strong leadership to the project teams.
• Coordinate and liaise effectively with clients, consultants, authorities and sub-contractors.
• Preparation of project reporting and presentation.
• Resolve and mitigate site issues.
• Report writing and coordinate with sub-contractors.
• Manage and coordinate projects and interfacing works at site.
