Job summary

Gadang is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Johor Bahru to lead multi-site builds and ensure projects meet schedules and budgets. You will supervise teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, and coordinate with clients and engineers to maintain alignment on objectives.

The role requires 8–10 years in construction management, a strong grasp of safety regulations, and proven ability to manage budgets while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of experience in construction management or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations and building codes.
• Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Excellent planning and scheduling abilities; proficient in MS Project or similar.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling project costs.
• Knowledge of health and safety management systems on construction sites.
• Own transport and willingness to base at Johor Bahru; able to work 6 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers for efficient delivery.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions for delays or overruns.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Manage project documentation: contracts, permits, plans and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders for alignment.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
• Control project costs through resource management and procurement practices.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents and milestones.
