Job summary

Bandai Namco is seeking a senior concept artist to lead a team in creating original visuals for characters, environments, and props. You will work with the art director and designers to shape the project’s artistic direction and ensure consistency across all concept art.

You will oversee the art pipeline from rough sketches to final renderings, mentor junior artists, and stay current with industry trends to continually elevate quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a concept artist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and other digital painting tools.
• Solid understanding of composition, color theory, and lighting.
• Ability to create a wide range of concept art from rough sketches to finished illustrations.
• Excellent drawing and painting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team.
• Strong problem solving and coaching abilities.
• Leadership experience to mentor junior artists.
• Passion for gaming and deep understanding of visual storytelling.
