Bandai Namco is seeking a senior Character Artist in Malaysia to lead a team of artists and drive creation of high-quality characters from concept to in-game implementation.

You will collaborate with the art director and concept teams, ensuring technical standards are met while delivering visually compelling characters with accurate anatomy, textures, shading and materials. A strong portolio and leadership experience are essential.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a 3D character artist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Maya, ZBrush and Substance Painter.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and proportion for characters.
• Experience with rigging and skinning characters for animation.
• Excellent texturing and shading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and communicate well.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Leadership experience with ability to mentor junior artists.
• A passion for gaming and deep understanding of character design principles.
