Job summary

Alliance Contract Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines in alignment with engineering drawings and production specifications. The role includes setting up tools and offsets, reading blueprints, and ensuring dimensional accuracy through test-cuts and inspections.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of CNC experience, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and basic programming ability; fresh graduates are welcome with training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Able to do basic programming when needed.
• Basic SolidWorks and Solid CAM.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Fresh graduates are welcome, training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3-, 4-, 5-axis CNC machines according to drawings and specifications.
• Set up tools and geometry offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Inspect parts to verify blueprint requirements.
• Transfer, edit and save CNC programs.
• Load and unload machines quickly and safely.
• Follow traveler and quality system procedures.
• Perform test-cut and verify dimensional quality.
• Keep machines and surrounding areas clean and organized.
