Valiant Advance Technology in Shah Alam is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and set up CNC milling machines, program tooling, and ensure components meet tight tolerances through precise measurement and inspection.

You will maintain production records, collaborate with supervisors to meet daily targets, and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing setting.

About the role
Valiant Advance Technology is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Milling Machinist to join our manufacturing operations team in Section 33, Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our production capabilities. As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components that meet our stringent specifications and customer requirements. This role is essential to ensuring our manufacturing excellence and supporting the company's commitment to delivering superior products on time.

What you'll be doing

Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings, specifications and work instructions

Set up and programme CNC milling machines, including tool changes, workpiece positioning and machine calibration

Monitor machine operation and component production to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy are maintained throughout the manufacturing process

Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres and gauges to verify conformance to specifications

Identify and troubleshoot machine problems, performing routine maintenance tasks and reporting equipment issues to supervisors

Maintain accurate production records, documenting cycle times, quantities produced and any quality or equipment concerns

Maintain a safe and organised work environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations and housekeeping standards

Collaborate with team members and production supervisors to meet daily production targets and schedules

What we're looking for

Proven experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment, preferably 3+ years in a similar role

Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and machining specifications

Solid understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, feed rates and speeds appropriate for various materials

Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures to ensure components meet dimensional and tolerance requirements

Competence in basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment, with the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks

Knowledge of workplace safety practices and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment

Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure high-quality production

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team

Familiarity with CAM software or CNC programming experience is advantageous but not essential

Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in machining or CNC operation are highly desirable

Must be willing and able to work night shifts
