Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CMM programming, preferably in aerospace or precision machining.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CMM software (e.g., Calypso).
• Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and optimize CMM inspection programs for complex aerospace parts.
• Perform CMM inspection for in-process and final inspection.
• Interpret complex blueprint drawings and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and generate inspection reports.
• Perform calibration and basic troubleshooting of CMM hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming: Develop, debug, and optimize CMM inspection programs for complex aerospace parts.
• Operation: Perform CMM inspection (including Zeiss/Calypso software) for in-process and final inspection.
• Technical Knowledge: Interpret complex blueprint drawings, understand GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Documentation: Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), generate inspection reports, and handle non-conformance reports (NCR) using systems like SAP.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform calibration and basic troubleshooting of CMM hardware and software.
