- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CMM programming, tooling design and fabrication, machining, or process engineering.
- Hands-on experience with CMM systems such as Mitutoyo and/or Zeiss.
- Proficient in CMM programming software such as MCOSMOS, PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, datum structures, and measurement methodologies.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and translate customer requirements into measurement programmes.
- Experience developing CMM programmes from scratch.
- Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and quality investigation activities.
- Experience in tooling, fixture, jig design, manufacturing, and machining processes.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD modelling and CAD/CAM applications.
- Experience with prototyping and 3D printing design would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Minitab and AutoCAD software.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to challenge technical requirements constructively and propose practical measurement solutions.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn, receptive attitude, and strong team collaboration skills.
- Candidates from aerospace, precision engineering, semiconductor, automotive, plastics, or related manufacturing environments are preferred.

A successful CMM Program Engineer should have:
- Develop and maintain CMM programmes for production, First Article Inspection (FAI), R&D activities, and other measurement requirements.
- Create accurate, reliable, and repeatable CMM programmes based on customer and operational requirements.
- Validate new and updated programmes through FAI, MSA studies, and other appropriate verification methods.
- Review technical drawings, identify datum structures, and establish suitable measurement sequences and strategies.
- Maintain and update existing production CMM programmes to ensure continued accuracy and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to CMM equipment and coordinate with external vendors for machine-related matters.
- Support root cause investigations, dimensional analysis, and customer quality concerns.
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures, jigs, and measurement aids when required.
- Support prototyping and 3D printing activities where applicable.
- Optimise utilisation of production CMM resources to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and R&D requirements.
- Provide metrology laboratory support for CMM programming and measurement activities as needed.
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to assess feasibility and recommend suitable measurement approaches.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality management requirements.
- Carry out other duties and projects as assigned.
