Job summary

Citigroup is seeking an experienced Client Cards Onboarding Lead to manage end-to-end delivery of complex client deals, coordinating across Sales, Product, Technology, Risk, Legal and Operations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record in coordinating large, multi-workstream projects within a financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in project delivery and program management.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team coordination.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of complex card deals per project management methodology.
• Oversee client onboarding activity end-to-end (including standard, low complexity and complex deals).
• Coordinate work with Sales, Product, Technology, Risk and Controls, Legal and other teams.
• Serve as single point of contact for the client and internal partners, ensuring successful end-to-end delivery.
• Develop customized project plans with deliverables, milestones and critical path items.
• Establish governance to meet defined quality standards and best practices.
• Reduce onboarding cycle time and report project status to senior management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor for the portfolio.
• Lead cross-organizational implementation teams and chair Board/Steering Committee meetings.
• Maintain solid relationships with client and internal stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
• Communicate MIS and project metrics to senior management and ensure proper reporting.
• Manage project scope and apply change control processes.
• Lead testing and validation to ensure contractual obligations are met and transition to production.
• Assist in RFP responses and prospective client presentations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department initiatives.
