Job summary

UEM Edgenta Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to provide technical and managerial guidance to Clerks of Works on major road and bridge projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will coordinate with site personnel to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards, while supporting the Resident Engineer in tracking progress and mitigating delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in construction site supervision, ideally in road and bridge projects.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and quality assurance processes.
• Familiarity with Malaysian construction regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and managerial guidance to the Clerk of Works (COWs).
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure activities meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Assist the Resident Engineer in monitoring progress, identifying delays, and recommending mitigations.
• Review QA Plans and HSSE Manuals prepared by the Work Package Contractor (WPC).
• Collaborate with the RE to evaluate method statements, materials, shop drawings, and traffic management plans submitted by the WPC.
• Respond to technical inquiries from the WPC and coordinate with design engineers for design changes.
• Assist the RE in reviewing and maintaining project reports (Site Diaries, Monthly Progress Reports, QAQC, HSSE, Routine Maintenance, Traffic Management Safety, Incident Reports).
• Verify the WPC's work for interim claims.
