Job summary

Terratech Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Design Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Malaysia. The role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring civil engineering projects within a dynamic consultancy environment.

You will work under the Assistant Manager, review drawings, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with codes and ISO 9001:2015.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of consultancy engineering design experience.
Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or other relevant body.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and project management software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Assistant Manager in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering projects.
Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company policies.
Prepare technical reports, engineering documents, presentations, and correspondence.
Represent the Assistant Manager at technical meetings with internal stakeholders, clients, and government agencies when required.
Review engineering drawings, reports, and submissions from consultants and sub-consultants.
Support contract administration activities in accordance with contractual obligations.
Supervise documentation management and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Monitor and manage project correspondence, drawings, and technical documentation.
Prepare project progress updates and ad hoc reports as required.
