Job summary

Terratech Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Design Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Malaysia. The role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring civil engineering projects within a dynamic consultancy environment.

You will work under the Assistant Manager, review drawings, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with codes and ISO 9001:2015.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of consultancy engineering design experience.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or other relevant body.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and project management software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Manager in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering projects.
• Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company policies.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering documents, presentations, and correspondence.
• Represent the Assistant Manager at technical meetings with internal stakeholders, clients, and government agencies when required.
• Review engineering drawings, reports, and submissions from consultants and sub-consultants.
• Support contract administration activities in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Supervise documentation management and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Monitor and manage project correspondence, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Prepare project progress updates and ad hoc reports as required.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
