Job summary

Perunding Teknik Padu Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a Civil Engineer / Civil & Structural Designer for our Bachok, Kelantan office.

You will perform civil and structural design for infrastructure, buildings and property development, and prepare drawings, calculations and technical specifications. This full-time, on-site role requires 2–7 years of relevant experience, with a focus on compliance with codes, standards and client requirements, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 2–7 years of relevant civil/structural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles, design practices, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with engineering design codes and standards.
• Proficiency in preparing drawings, calculations, specifications, and documentation.
• Good communication, teamwork and project coordination skills.
• Professional registration or progress towards registration is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out civil and structural design works for infrastructure, buildings and property development projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings, structural calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Perform structural analysis and evaluate design proposals for accuracy and compliance.
• Review drawings and coordinate design requirements with architects, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, regulations and client requirements.
• Participate in site inspections, technical reviews and construction activities.
• Provide engineering support to resolve design and construction-related issues.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety and timely completion.
