Job summary

Minconsult Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya seeks a Civil & Structural Engineer with 5–9 years in design consultancy to plan, analyse, design and coordinate civil and structural works for buildings and infrastructure, delivering calculations, drawings and specifications on schedule.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and authorities, ensuring MS EN/Eurocode compliance. Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 and MIDAS is essential, plus strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with First Class Honours preferred.
• 5–9 years of civil and structural design consultancy experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design for RC and steel.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 and MIDAS.
• Familiarity with MS EN, Eurocodes and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Undertake civil and structural design for buildings, bridges and infrastructure.
• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports and specifications.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and authorities.
• Review drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to proposals, tenders and cost estimates as needed.
• Attend meetings, site visits and technical discussions.
• Provide technical support and lead assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
