Job summary

onsemi is seeking an experienced test engineer to join the Product Characterization team in Malaysia. You will support product engineering for new development releases and manufacturing validation, developing low-cost test solutions for discrete devices and modules on ATE platforms and bench.

The role requires knowledge of C/C++, Python, and Java, plus experience with ATE platform architectures to develop low-level testing code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic or equivalent with >7 years in Product/Test in semiconductor.
• Familiar with testing on automated testers (ATEs), custom rack-and-stack systems and bench setups.
• Proficient in multiple ATE platforms and languages including C/C++, Python, Java.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate discrete and module semiconductor devices.
• Design and modify test systems, fixtures, and software for test.
• Own ATE test plans, HW design, test program development, and bench test development for device characterization.
