Job summary

onsemi is seeking a seasoned test engineer for its Product Characterization team in Malaysia. You will develop low-cost test solutions for discrete and module devices, working on ATE platforms and bench setups to characterize silicon, SiC, and GaN parts.

You will design test equipment and software, generate ATE test plans, and drive new platform development with colleagues across sites to shorten time-to-market and improve data quality. Strong programming and electronics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical & electronic or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in product/testing within semiconductor industry
• Experience with ATE testers and bench setups

Responsibilities

• Design and modify test systems and fixtures for device characterization
• Develop low-level ATE code and test programs
• Own testing activities from plan to delivery and collaborate with cross-site teams
• Improve productivity and quality via process and equipment upgrades
