Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer in Malaysia to build and manage channel partner relationships and drive end-customer sales. You will collaborate with internal teams, forecast demand, and contribute to product planning.

The role demands strong communication skills and a proactive sales mindset. The position requires travel and ongoing promotion of building automation and controls solutions to maintain market leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical engineering and HVAC engineering or Electrical / Electronic engineering.
• 3+ years in sales, channel sales management.
• Extensive sales and marketing experience in Building Automation / Controls industry.
• Ability to communicate internally and externally at high levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for change management and cross selling.
• Willing to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Study product knowledge and company procedures to improve domain knowledge.
• Responsible for Controls products market promotion, sales strategy setup and management.
• Responsible for Controls products design application, quotation and technical solution.
• Builds and maintains relationships with design institutes and promotes product branding.
• Establishes and maintains long-term channel partner relationships with key customers to influence opportunities.
• Provide training to internal and external distributors.
• Compliance with Johnson Controls’ policies and procedures at all times.
