Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Draughtsman to produce precise drawings for varied projects. You will work with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts into constructible plans and ensure compliance with local codes.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelors in a related field, at least 5 years of drafting experience, and strong CAD/BIM skills including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline (Diploma or Bachelor's degree).
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in civil and structural drafting, ideally within a design consultancy or construction environment.
• Strong command of CAD platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) alongside a good working knowledge of BIM workflows.
• Solid grasp of structural design principles, construction techniques, and relevant regulatory codes (such as Malaysian Standards, Eurocodes, or BS).
• High level of precision and detail-oriented approach to deliver accurate, scalable drawings under demanding timelines.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate seamlessly with engineering teams, clients, and on-site contractors.
• Adept at analyzing and interpreting complex engineering sketches, blueprints, and project documentation.
