Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to capture and structure use cases, and to translate business needs into clear specifications for the IT team.

You will analyze requirements, identify risks, and collaborate with clients and developers to deliver effective insurance solutions, conduct testing, train users, and oversee system implementation.

The ideal candidate holds a IT-related degree, has 4+ years as a BA, and familiar with agile processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in IT related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years in progressive IT Sector.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate business information to both internal and external stakeholders of the project.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Be familiar with the methodology of requirements development and requirements change management.
• Nice to be familiar with Agile or other software development process.
• Experience with insurance institutions is plus.
• DB and Java developer experience is plus.

Responsibilities

• Capturing/document and structuring use cases
• Analyzing and developing functional specification documents
• Identify and capture/document business goals and provide business solution to clients
• Identify assumptions, constraints, issues and risks
• Play translator role between users and developers
• Perform system testing and support users’ acceptance testing
• Offer system training to users
• Be responsible for system implementation
• Be familiar with insurance business
