Job summary

Ideal Reliance is seeking a Senior ERP Analyst to lead access management, security design, and governance for SAP/S4HANA environments. You will collaborate with IT and business process owners across global teams to optimize ERP roles, testing, UAT, and upgrades.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, cross-functional influence, and a track record of continuous improvement in large-scale ERP deployments. Based in Malaysia, the position is on-site with core hours and 40-hour work weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required.
• Experience as a Senior Business Analyst or ERP Analyst.
• Experience with large-scale ERP systems, preferably SAP/S4HANA.
• ERP access management, security, and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business focal point for ERP access management and security.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure access provisioning, controls, and reviews.
• Support ERP implementation, upgrades, and post-go-live activities.
• Drive ISM activities across functions, assets, and global networks.
• Stabilize ERP solutions post-implementation with reduced incidents.
• Identify recurring issues and improve ERP support processes.
• Own ISM toolkits, knowledge materials, dashboards, and processes.
• Lead ERP testing activities for upgrades and major changes.
• Define test scope, coordinate testing, track defects, and ensure UAT exit criteria.

Job Details:

• Work Location: Sunway Square, Bandar Sunway
• Contract Duration: 16 months
• Working Hours: 40 hours/week
• Salary Offered: Up to RM 10,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the business focal point for ERP access management and security, including ownership and continuous improvement of Job Archetypes, business roles, and governance.
• Partner with Enterprise Access Management and IT teams to ensure access provisioning, security controls, compliance activities, and access reviews are completed effectively and on time.
• Support ERP implementation, deployment, organizational changes, and post-go-live activities, including role catalogue deployment and user access management.
• Drive ERP Integrated Support Model (ISM) activities across business functions, assets, and global support networks.
• Support stabilization of ERP solutions following implementation, upgrades, and hypercare, with a focus on reducing incidents and improving service performance.
• Work with process experts, key users, and IT support teams to identify recurring issues and improve ERP support processes.
• Own and continuously improve ISM toolkits, knowledge materials, dashboards, and support processes.
• Lead ERP testing activities for technical upgrades, releases, and major system changes.
• Define testing scope, coordinate test preparation and execution, track defects, and ensure agreed UAT exit criteria are achieved.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams across different functions, locations, and time zones.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and continuous improvement across business processes and ERP solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Business Analyst, ERP Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience working with large-scale ERP systems, preferably SAP/S4HANA.
• Experience in ERP access management, security, role design, testing, UAT, or system upgrades.
• Strong project management, change management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively across business, IT, process owner, and support teams without direct authority.
• Comfortable working with global teams across different functions and time zones.
• Experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Wells, or Operations is an advantage.
