Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM Leader to drive initiatives across projects, aligning with timelines, standards and client requirements.

You will manage a BIM team, develop capabilities, and lead the production of detailed design, coordinated, simulation and as-built models while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.

This role requires coordinating with clients, design and construction teams, managing RFIs and design changes, and delivering regular BIM progress reports.

Qualifications

• Experience leading BIM initiatives in large projects.
• Proven ability to plan resources and timelines for BIM deliverables.
• Strong communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic BIM planning and vision aligned with market and client needs.
• Coordinate resources and schedules to ensure BIM deliverables meet requirements.
• Lead and mentor BIM team; support career development and knowledge sharing.
• Keep up-to-date with BIM advancements through learning and conferences.
• Oversee day-to-day BIM implementations and deliverables on projects.
• Produce and manage Detailed Design, Coordinated, Simulation and As-Built models.
• Establish data exchange protocols and access controls to maintain model integrity.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with clients, contractors and design teams.
• Coordinate RFIs and design changes; ensure model updates per resolutions.
• Oversee information production and data extraction for stakeholders.
• Ensure BIM modelling produces required drawings and reports.
• Publish BIM progress reports bi-weekly or monthly.
• Ensure team has access to required BIM software and hardware.
