Job summary

REN Wellness Retreat, by ERMS Berhad (a subsidiary of IJM Land), seeks enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join its café team. The role focuses on crafting coffee, greeting guests, handling orders, and maintaining a welcoming service standard across busy weekends and holidays.

Candidates with F&B experience, fresh graduates welcome, and Mandarin speakers preferred to assist our diverse Chinese clientele. Training will be provided to ensure consistent, high-quality beverage output.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM holder with F&B experience.
• Fresh graduates welcomed.
• Mandarin speakers preferred for Chinese clients.
• Cafe/bar background advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of specialty coffee drinks using professional equipment.
• Greet customers, take orders, and make menu recommendations.
• Handle transactions, operate registers, and manage receipts.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Support daily café operations including order taking, serving, and table clearing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and seating area.
• Perform basic calibration, equipment checks, and bar setup.

Job Responsibilities

Preparing a variety of specialty coffee drinks such as espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and more using professional equipment

Greet customers warmly, take orders, offer menu recommendations, and address inquiries

Handle cash and card transactions, operate registers, and manage daily receipts accurately

Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

Support daily café operations including order taking, food and beverage serving, and table clearing

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and seating area

Perform basic calibration, equipment checks, and bar setup to support consistent output

Job Requirement

Minimum SPM holder with F&B experiences

Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply

Mandarin speakers are preferred due to the need of handling Chinese clients and customers.

Candidates from cafes/bar background will be an added advantage

Willingness to learn and be trained

Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills

Able to work on weekends and public holidays

5 working days per week

Senior and Supervisor position level are available based on experiences.
