Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy is required and registered with the Malaysian Board of Pharmacy.
• Masters in Clinical Pharmacy preferred for the role.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pharmacy/healthcare/wellness.
• Strong interest in traditional Chinese medicine herbs and preparation.
• Good dosage administration knowledge and attention to measurement.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and ensure patient safety.
• Provide guidance on medications, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain patient records and medication inventories with proper documentation.
• Plan daily workflow to improve efficiency and reduce wait times.
• Ensure compliance with Poisons Act 1952 and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and compliance with all relevant regulations

Provide professional advice and guidance to customers on the appropriate use of medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions

Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories, while following proper documentation and reporting procedures

Help plan and manage the daily workflow to ensure efficiency and minimize patient waiting times

Ensure all activities related to pharmaceuticals comply with the Poisons Act 1952 and other relevant regulations

Provide pharmaceutical information and advice to medical staff and patients as required

Report and document adverse drug reactions, medication errors

Involves in drug inventory procedures, inventory management, purchasing, receiving, drug supplies and medication storage of the services

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor of Pharmacy, Masters in Clinical Pharmacy is preferred.

Registered with the Malaysian Board of Pharmacy.

Minimum 1 – 2 years of working experience in a pharmacy//healthcare/wellness setting.

Have strong interest in TCM herbs and herbal preparation techniques in a TCM Setting.

Thorough knowledge of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.

Demonstrate organizational skills and analytical skills where appropriate and ability to work on own initiative.

Demonstrates a positive attitude, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
