Hong Leong Bank Berhad in Malaysia seeks a dedicated professional to support current account, saving account, fixed deposit, and investment systems. You will collaborate with business units and IT to review URS/ITR/CR/SOW documents, drive system enhancements, and ensure governance with Shariah and regulatory standards.

You will develop test scripts, perform UAT/regression, and assist in production support, including SRF handling and parameter maintenance across systems.

• Collaborate with Business unit to review and refine technical documentations such as User Requirement Descriptions (URS), IT Request Form (ITR), Change Request (CR), Scope of Work (SOW) and other documents related to system.
• Liaise with IT departments and external vendors to drive system enhancements and ensure vendor deliverables align with business requirements.
• Notify ITSC Secretariat for project or enhancement related to IT and collaborate with business unit completing the relevant documents for project/enhancement cost approval by management.
• Assist in raising the CER/PO submission for execution of system enhancement related project/enhancement where relevant to OAS department.
• Develop comprehensive Test Scripts and execute the UAT/Regression testing. The scope of this testing is not limited to Islamic Banking (HLISB) only but must be inclusive of group-wide projects (HLBB).
• Validate system compliance with Shariah and statutory requirements, ensuring all mandatory fields and logic meet regulatory standards.
• Author system manuals and operational guidelines to support the successful rollout of new products.

• Advise Business Units on Service Request Forms (SRF) for deposit products, overseeing new product code creation and parameter maintenance across AS400 and BTS systems in both UAT and Production environments.
• Act as Checker to verify and validate parameter maintenance performed by Other Department ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
• Assist in raising production error log (related to system) when there are any system irregularities that can be found via ad hoc query reports or customer/bank user's complaint.
• Act as advisory roles on system capabilities and to provide solutions to any queries/ issues related to Islamic deposit.
• Assist on the product queries from internal or external parties, by providing technical support and other related information.
• Assist support and operational handling related to the product and services.
• Assist to monitor the pre and post implementation of any new related product and services.
• Support IA system - Profit Distribution Module (PDM)
• Assist in managing, preparing, and submitting the department's Process & Control Testing bi-annually.
• Ensure annual risk updates and provide sample testing based on risk type and criticality.
• Update the department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) annually and ensure Risk Control Sample Assessment (RCSA) items are updated accordingly.
• To ensure product and services to be implemented are complied with Shariah and other statutory requirements
• To incorporate risk management framework in developing system for new products and services.
• To ensure that system procedures and guidelines prepared cover the new products and processes.
• To collaborate with relevant departments to establish the required support structure for the business.
