Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks an IT/System professional to drive system enhancements for retail banking products, including Current Account, Saving Account-i, Fixed Deposit-i, and Investment Account-i. You will coordinate with business units, IT and external vendors to refine documents and deliver changes aligned with Shariah and regulatory requirements.

You will develop test scripts for UAT/Regression, support production systems, and prepare manuals for new products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Units to review and refine technical documents such as URS, ITR, CR and SOW.
• Liaise with IT departments and external vendors to drive system enhancements and ensure deliverables align with business requirements.
• Notify ITSC Secretariat for project/enhancement related to IT and coordinate cost approval documentation.
• Develop comprehensive test scripts and execute UAT/Regression testing for Islamic Banking (HLISB) and group-wide projects.
• Validate system compliance with Shariah and statutory requirements, ensuring mandatory fields and logic meet regulatory standards.
• Author system manuals and operational guidelines for successful product rollout.
• Advise on Service Request Forms for deposit products, oversee product code creation and parameter maintenance across AS400 and BTS in UAT/Production.
• Assist in production issue logging and validation of parameter maintenance for accuracy.
• Provide technical support on product queries and assist with post-implementation monitoring.
• Support IA system – Profit Distribution Module (PDM).
• Assist in Risk Management tasks including SOP updates and risk testing.
• Ensure compliance with Shariah and other statutory requirements and collaborate with departments to establish required support structures.
