Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated professional to support the Shariah Review function by independently assessing the Bank’s activities, products, services and operations to ensure ongoing adherence to Shariah requirements and regulatory expectations.

You will plan and execute Shariah reviews, assess business activities against applicable requirements, document findings, report to stakeholders and monitor corrective actions while maintaining independence and objectivity.

Responsibilities

• Shariah Review Planning & Execution: Conduct periodic and thematic Shariah reviews in accordance with the approved Shariah Review Plan, including scoping, risk assessment, walkthroughs, sampling, testing, documentation and reporting of review results.
