Job summary

Brenntag Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Food Technologist to deliver technical solutions for customers across multiple food categories, with a bakery focus. You will conduct laboratory and pilot plant trials independently at Brenntag Technical Centre and customer sites.

You will support the Blended Solutions Team, collaborate with sales and marketing, and share knowledge across Asia Pacific. A degree in Food Science/Technology and 10+ years in F&B R&D are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or related field.
• 10+ years in Food & Beverage R&D.
• Experience across bakery/plant-based/hybrid solutions.
• Hands-on with lab trials and product development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on laboratory trials to evaluate ingredients and blends for bakery and snack segments.
• Handle processing equipment used in food manufacturing.
• Ensure on-time completion of customer and internal projects.
• Collaborate with commercial team to respond rapidly to customer needs.
• Work with marketing on events and demonstrations.
• Train teams across regions on new solution blends.
