Job summary

GX Bank Berhad is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer in Petaling Jaya to design, implement and scale backend services using Go. You will participate in architecture decisions and work with product and experience teams to deliver high-performance systems.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of backend experience, strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and cloud deployment. You will mentor juniors and own several microservices within the squad.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong Go language and microservices knowledge.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.
• Experience with AWS and scalable service design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services in Go.
• Collaborate with product/UX to shape architecture for performance.
• Participate in code/design reviews to maintain quality.
