Job summary

Asia School of Business is seeking an AV Technician to manage hands-on setup, operation, testing, and on-site support of AV systems across classrooms, meeting rooms, and event spaces. The role covers livestreaming, recording sessions, and routine maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations.

The successful candidate will perform equipment preparation, basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with IT, events, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted sessions and high-quality audiovisual output.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in audio engineering, sound production, multimedia, IT, electronics, or related field, or minimum 3 years in AV operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and operate AV equipment for classes, meetings, events, and recordings.
• Provide on-site real-time support and troubleshooting to minimise disruptions.
• Support studio and classroom recording activities, monitor sessions, and verify quality.
• Coordinate AV services with IT, events, facilities, and vendors to ensure readiness.
• Support high-profile events with on-site technical help and quick issue resolution.
• Provide after-hours/weekend support as required with proper logging.
• Maintain AV equipment housekeeping and inventory records, including storage and movement tracking.
• Document setup records, incident reports, and equipment inventories.
