Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a lead automation engineer to own design-to-completion of complex automation projects. You will design and develop Siemens S7-1500 / TIA Portal control systems, craft control philosophies, sequences, interlocks, and integrate VSDs, instrumentation, PLC and industrial networks.

You will troubleshoot PLC and control problems, lead FAT/SAT and commissioning activities, and develop reusable function blocks while improving standards.

Qualifications

• Strong PLC and control engineering fundamentals.
• Practical experience with PLC architecture.
• Experience with sequential / state-based control.
• Experience with interlocks & permissives.
• Experience with PID / process control.
• Experience with motor & VSD control.
• Experience with instrumentation.
• FAT / SAT experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Siemens S7-1500 / TIA Portal control systems.
• Develop control philosophy, sequences, interlocks and permissives.
