Job summary

AIA is seeking a Quality Assurance/UAT specialist to lead user acceptance testing for digital projects. You will develop clear test plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure all features are thoroughly tested before release.

The role requires a degree in Business IT or Computer Science, 2–3 years in insurance or a related field, and a strong eye for detail to manage priorities and deliver quality digital experiences.

• Report UAT progress and highlight risks and issues.
• Prepare user guides and provide training to end users on enhancements.

About the Role

Responsible for conducting quality control tests to ensure that software meets specified standards and end user requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop clear and concise User Acceptance Test (UAT) Test Plans for digital projects and enhancements
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure test environments and any specific UAT requirements are set up in readiness for test execution
• Execute testing and analyze test outputs for accuracy and completeness
• Work closely with stakeholders to resolve UAT defects
• Report UAT progress and highlight key areas of risk and issues
• Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate UAT signoff by ensuring that all functionalities have been tested, defects have been identified and documented, impacts have been assessed, and resolutions provided
• Review and signoff User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan with stakeholders
• Prepare user guides and provide training to end users on the relevant enhancements

Job Requirements

• Degree: Degree Holder preferably in Business IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience: At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in Insurance Industry
• Meticulous and able to manage priorities to meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in engaging key stakeholders
• Digitally-savvy with a passion for optimising digital experiences
• Positive attitude and willingness to share and learn
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and is a team player
