Job summary

AIA Shared Services Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Associate, Medical Claims for the Hong Kong Markets. You will review medical information, process claims accurately, and ensure service standards while supporting customers.

Fluent in English and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and with a background in biology or medical sciences is encouraged to apply. Prior experience in medical/insurance claims is a plus. Willing to work at IOI City Mall, Office Tower 1, Putrajaya.

Senior Associate, Medical Claims (Hong Kong Markets)

You will be responsible for reviewing medical information, making accurate claim decisions, and delivering quality outcomes within agreed service standards while helping customers receive the support they need.

Job Description:

Claim Process / Assessment 90%

Accurately process/assess all pre-approval request in adherence to company guideline and quality standard

Review and approve cases that is within the pre-approval authority granted

Document pre-approval assessments comprehensively, ensuring transparency and clarity in decision making.

Ensure meeting individual quality, turnaround time and productivity benchmark

Shows keenness to develop technical competency by extending pre-approval scope handle or authority limits

Maintain a good personal record of training in line with the training framework of the Company

Demonstrate excellent customer centric mindset through highly engaged culture

Other miscellaneous tasks 10%

Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor / manager in order to meet business requirements

Participate in departmental/organizational activities, programs and other tasks required

Job Requirements:

Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to read and type in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Candidates with a background in Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Biotechnology, Medical Science, or Food Science are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience in the medical industry, laboratory environment, or insurance claims processing will be an added advantage.

Self-motivated, proactive, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow.
