Job summary

AIA Shared Services Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks an AML Analyst to perform name screening on alerts from Nice Actimize and conduct Dow Jones checks against customer profiles.

You will escalate hits to Compliance for comments and to senior management for approval, and manage end-to-end CDD process and alert closure. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2–4 years of relevant experience, fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese a plus), and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• A recognized tertiary Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• 2-4 years of relevant working experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin/Cantonese a plus; passing SPM Chinese is mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform AML name screening on alerts from Nice Actimize.
• Conduct Dow Jones checks on watchlists against customer profiles.
• Escalate hits to Compliance for comments and to senior management for approval.
• Follow end-to-end CDD process and alert closure.
• Review Administrative Procedures and resolve issues with corrective/preventive measures.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job description

Perform AML name screening on alerts generated from Nice Actimise system.

Conduct Dow Jones checking on the watchperson or potential hit against the customer profile.

Escalate hit cases to Compliance for comments and to senior management for approval.

Follow up end to end CDD process and alert closure.

Administrative Procedure Review

On-time identification of errors, delays or any other problems, with subsequent diagnosis & resolution via corrective and preventive measures

Other ad hoc task

Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet business requirements.

Job Requirements:

A recognized tertiary Bachelor's Degree qualification.

Possess 2-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the insurance, financial operations, or banking industry.

Fluent in spoken English and Chinese. Candidates with proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese will have an added advantage. Passing SPM Chinese is a mandatory requirement.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

The role is required to follow the Hong Kong working calendar.

Willing to work in Putrajaya.
