Averis Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a risk-focused professional to join the finance team and help manage trading P&L reporting and risk oversight. The role emphasizes daily validation, exposure monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting or finance and has 2–3 years of relevant experience in commodities, with a knack for automation and programming (Python) and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in the commodity industry.
• Preferably with automation & programming skills, such as Python.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Passionate about risk management & analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily validation and reporting of trading P&L to traders and management, including analysis of key P&L.
• Monitor and ensure exposures are within approved limits.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for the Risk Management Committee.
• Collaborate with team to mitigate risk and improve processes.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of position.

Perform daily validation and reporting of trading profit and loss to traders and management, including analysis of key P&L

Monitor and ensuring exposure are within approved limits

Assist in the preparation of reports for the Risk Management Committee.

Collaborate with team to mitigate risk and improve processes.

Conduct monthly reconciliation of position.

Job Requirements:

Degree in any disciple, preferably Accounting of Finance Degree.

At least 2-3 years of work experiences, preferably in the commodity industry.

Preferably with automation & programming skills, such as Python will be an added advantage

Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
