Job summary

RS Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to deliver technical expertise and application knowledge across key product categories. You will partner with customers, sales, and marketing teams to drive adoption and solutions.

The role emphasizes site visits, RFQ responses, trainer-led sessions, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to support growth and customer success.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Application Engineer or in related industries.
• Strong ability to advise customers with engineering and solution recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application knowledge and support across strategic product offerings.
• Engage with customers on product selection, implementation, and training for successful adoption.
• Attend customer sites to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Handle technical inquiries via phone, email, and in person with high service levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and BD teams to support technical sales strategies.
• Offer guidance and insights to support engagements, design-in opportunities, and projects.
• Conduct product and category training for internal teams and customers.
