CITY FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support our Australian operations from Kuala Lumpur.

The role covers financial planning & analysis, management reporting, governance and finance transformation, with responsibility for leading a small team and driving continuous improvement across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and planning processes. Reporting to the Australia Finance leadership team, you will enhance financial insights, strengthen reporting

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience in large or complex orgs.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and management reporting functions.
• Proven ability to improve finance processes, controls and governance.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support our Australian operations from Kuala Lumpur. This role combines financial planning & analysis, management reporting, governance, and finance transformation, with responsibility for leading a small team and driving continuous improvement across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and planning processes.

Reporting to the Australia Finance leadership team, you will play a key role in enhancing financial insights, strengthening reporting controls, and championing technology-enabled finance solutions, including Workday Adaptive Planning.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.


• Manage financial models, planning assumptions, and forecast governance.


• Deliver meaningful financial insights, variance analysis, and business performance reporting.


• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and scenario planning.

Reporting & Governance

• Oversee month-end and management reporting processes.


• Drive consistency, accuracy, and standardization across reporting frameworks.


• Establish and maintain reporting controls, templates, and governance practices.


• Ensure timely and high-quality financial information for key stakeholders.

Finance Transformation & Systems

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.


• Drive automation, efficiency improvements, and adoption of AI-enabled solutions.


• Act as a key owner and champion of Workday Adaptive Planning and related reporting tools.


• Support ongoing finance transformation and process optimization initiatives.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals.


• Partner closely with senior finance and business stakeholders in Australia.


• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.


• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.


• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience, including exposure to large or complex organizations.


• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting functions.


• Proven experience improving finance processes, controls, governance, and reporting frameworks.


• Strong financial analysis, business partnering, and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI, or similar planning and reporting platforms.


• Exposure to finance transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
