Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll for Oceania and SEA regions, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments in line with local laws.

You will administer payroll processes, handle payments, benefits, taxes and deductions, and calculate components such as overtime, shift payments and bonuses, while maintaining data integrity and producing required reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• HR certification is preferred.
• Experience 6+ years in Oceania Payroll.
• Exposure to payroll systems like Datapay or HRIS.
• Ability to handle end-to-end payroll for Australia, New Zealand and SEA.
• Understanding of local statutory and taxation for Australia, New Zealand and SEA.
• Ability to work and coach in a team.
• Understanding of End-to-End Payroll and Statutory Declarations.
• Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll with accuracy and timely payments.
• Handle payments, benefits, taxes and deductions.
• Calculate components like overtime, shift payments, commissions, and bonuses.
• Resolve patterns of errors and recurring issues and escalate when needed.
• Support other team members on payroll-related issues.
• Maintain payroll records per process guidelines.
• Prepare reports for internal use and government/compliance.
• Collate and verify data required for payroll processing.
• Respond to employee payroll queries.
