Job summary

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd invites a data-driven Analyst to collect, maintain and analyze sales and ops data to support planning and decision making. You will develop reports, dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Collaborating with Sales, Operations and Production, you will forecast, budget and provide data-driven recommendations while ensuring data accuracy, preparing management reviews and driving continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business analytics, statistics, data science, operations management, or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in business analytics, sales planning, operations analysis, performance reporting, or process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of forecasting, KPI management, and business performance analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, and analyze sales and operational data to support planning and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business performance.
• Analyze sales trends, customer demand patterns, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Conduct root cause analysis to investigate business issues and performance gaps.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Production, and other cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular validation and reconciliation activities.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and performance reviews for stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement, operational excellence, and digitalization initiatives.
• Assist in enhancing reporting tools, analytical models, and business processes.
• Maintain documentation for reporting methodologies, data sources, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in projects related to business performance management and process improvement.
