Job summary

Watsons Malaysia is seeking a Sales Ops Insight Deputy Manager to lead analytics and turn data into actionable dashboards and recommendations. You will partner with Sales and Operations to optimize store performance, stock planning, incentives, and local marketing, while coaching a team of analysts.

You will design Power BI dashboards, standardise KPI definitions, and drive data-driven decisions across regions, stores, and channels, ensuring accuracy and timely insights for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics or related field.
• 4–6 years' experience in sales analytics or BI in retail/FMCG.
• Strong Power BI skills, data modelling, and dashboard design.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of sales KPIs, stock management, and incentives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Capable of working in fast-paced retail environments.
• Experience with SQL, DAX, M, PowerPivot.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance across stores, channels, and regions.
• Deliver insights to support sales strategies and targets.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and management reports.
• Develop Power BI dashboards for sales and operational KPIs.
• Support stock planning and store openings/closures.
• Analyze store incentive performance and programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT.
• Lead and coach analytics team.
