Job summary

DHL IT Services in Cyberjaya is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to architect and deploy production-grade Conversational AI and agent workflows integrated with core Booking Service APIs, messaging buses, and ERP backends.

You will own from flow design to deployment, implementing prompt optimization, automated testing, and robust security guardrails while mentoring peers on best practices.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng/IT with 5–8 years experience, or Master’s with 3–5+ years.
• Proven experience building enterprise conversational agents, dialogue management, and structured prompt engineering.
• Hands-on with enterprise conversational platforms or frameworks such as Happyrobot, Cognigy, Dialogflow CX, Vertex AI.
• Backend proficiency in Java (11+) and/or Python with Spring Boot or FastAPI; RESTful microservices development.
• Relational DB and vector search memory retrieval; API standards and asynchronous event streaming.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain conversational AI and agent architecture.
• Develop prompts, tool-calling chains, and RAG patterns for context-aware AI.
• Integrate backend with Booking Service APIs, messaging buses, and ERP backends.
• Define CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker/OpenShift/K8s), and env configurations.
• Establish automated tests, guardrails for security and privacy, and monitor telemetry.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture/code reviews.
