Job summary

MP Consol Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to take charge of the company’s full set of accounts, payroll, and employment compliance while also handling general office administration.

The role requires independence in managing AP/AR, GL, payroll, and statutory contributions, with duties including monthly closings, budgeting support, and liaising with auditors and tax agents. The ideal candidate will have a accounting or finance degree, 2–5 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the same or related industry.
• Able to handle a full set of accounts independently.
• Familiar with Malaysian accounting practices, payroll, statutory contributions, and employment laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Responsible, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow monitoring.
• Manage monthly and year-end closing, payments, and invoices.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.
• Process payroll, claims, overtime, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB).
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and employment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and MOHR/JTK requirements.
• Oversee office administration, corporate insurance renewals, asset management, and office supplies procurement.
• Assist with budgeting and other ad hoc duties.
