Job summary

TBS Asia Management Consultants Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Accountant in Malaysia to manage daily accounting operations, payroll, AP/AR, and month-end closings. The role requires handling payroll confidentially and ensuring accurate financial records.

You will prepare monthly financial reports, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with year-end activities within a growing SME advisory practice. Strong bookkeeping skills and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• SPM/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Experienced in payroll processing.
• Candidates with full-set account experience are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments, receipts, and related accounting documentation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure proper maintenance of accounting records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accounting records and documents are properly maintained and filed.
• Process and maintain payroll records accurately and confidentially.
• Handle the full payroll process, including salary calculation and other payroll-related matters.
