Job summary

Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to lead the accounting team, oversee consolidated financial reporting, and ensure statutory compliance across the Group’s operations.

You will collaborate with BU heads, manage cash flow and treasury, refine accounting policies, and support financing and due diligence projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification with MIA/ACCA/CPA/ICAEW preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, taxation, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
• Experience handling group consolidation and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Experience in construction, property development, or public-listed companies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's financial reporting function, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.
• Partner with Business Unit Heads and Management on financial performance monitoring, cost controls, and strategic decision-making.
• Manage cash flow planning, working capital requirements, and treasury-related matters to support business operations.
• Review and enhance accounting policies, financial controls, and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and governance.
• Support corporate exercises, financing arrangements, due diligence, and other ad-hoc projects as assigned by Management.
