Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting recognised by MIA and professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in taxation, accounting, and/or auditing.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations and MFRS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group financial consolidation and preparation of consolidated accounts.
• Review subsidiaries’ financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure monthly financial reports are prepared and submitted to the Board.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and improvements.
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic planning and decisions.
• Monitor cash positions, payments, and short-term investments.
• Oversee bank accounts, cash management, and fund allocation.

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee the overall financial operations of the group of companies, ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee group financial consolidation and the preparation of consolidated accounts.

2. Financial Analysis & Business Insights

• Develop and monitor KPI reports to assess financial and business performance.

7. Regulatory Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  
• Review and strengthen internal controls to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.
  

8. Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Work closely with internal teams to gather, validate, and analyse financial information.
  
• Present financial findings, insights, and recommendations to the Board and team leaders.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting recognised by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
  
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CTIM, CIMA, ICAEW, or an equivalent certification.
  
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in taxation, accounting, and/or auditing.
  
• Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations, tax legislation, and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
  
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team leaders.
