Job summary

AXRAIL SDN. BHD. seeks an Assistant Accounts Manager to lead the finance function, including accounting, monthly closings, reporting and analysis, and audit support to ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.

The role collaborates with business leaders to drive growth and improve performance. Reporting to the GM with a dotted line to the Group Reporting Manager, you will oversee cash flow, supervise AP/AR, participate in budgeting, and liaise with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting is required; professional qualification an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge and ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and monthly financial/management reporting.
• Oversee cash flow projections and ensure funds for operations.
• Supervise AP/AR to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
• Participate in budgeting and monitoring of the annual budget.
• Prepare year-end reports, liaise with auditors, and coordinate audits.
• Prepare deferred tax computations and handle SST, withholding tax, and corporate income tax submissions.
• Support financial performance analysis and ERP implementation.
