Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within SME.
• Strong experience handling full-set accounts independently.
• Experience liaising with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Familiar with accounting software (SQL, UBS, Autocount, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of Malaysian tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator with Management and external parties.
• Key role in supporting business expansion and funding initiatives.
• Direct exposure to Management and strategic decisions.
• Stable and growing company with long-term career prospects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounts (AP, AR, GL) and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management reports and cash flow projections.
• Monitor budgeting, cost control and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax and statutory reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary.
• Coordinate payroll financial review and accuracy.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial SOPs.
• Assist management with grant submissions and funding compliance.
• Support management with financial analysis and strategic decisions.
