Job summary

ADL Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager – Financial Accounting & Reporting to ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance, and timely reporting for the entity. The role supports group consolidation and Axiata reporting, ensuring policy consistency and effective internal controls.

The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA(M) or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting or audit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in line with local and group policies.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end close activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory reporting.
• Oversee corporate income tax, SST and other statutory taxes.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group.
