IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and statutory compliance across the group. You will monitor performance, manage cash flow and ensure timely closing while upholding high standards of accuracy.

The role requires a strong track record in construction industry finance, 10+ years PQE, and leadership to develop the accounting team and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or recognised professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MIA).
• 10+ years post-qualification experience; construction industry experience advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting standards, taxation and statutory reporting.

Aufgaben

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Monitor financial performance, cash flow, collections and budget variances to support financial management.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing and accurate financial statements.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes for risk management.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and stakeholders on financial, audit and statutory matters.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for planning and decision-making.
• Oversee and develop the accounting team for efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, safety and quality standards.
